Incl. historical views from engravings and contemporary photographic reproductions. The latter are not always cited with the originator’s name, but the single plates usually are. Though the book gewnerally reflects a rather conservative view in its text and the image selection some photographs look remarkably modernist, especially those by Krull, Maar and Schall.
