Text dt. - A short essay on the life of Ernst Becker, librarian to prince Albert at Windsor Castle, a tutor of Victoria and Albert’s son Albert Edward (later Edward VII), amateur photographer and co-founder of the Royal Photographic Society. A remark in the essay that Becker went to study photography with Daguerre personally in 1855 must be wrong as Daguerre died in 1851 already.
